Provided Department of Children Services (DCS, State of Arizona) transition bags on request when a child is transitioning out of foster-care and going to a group home. Each transition bag includes the following new items: 28-in Travel Duffel Bag, (1) pillow, (1) pillow case, (1) large bath towel, (2) wash cloths, (1) set of bed sheets for a twin bed, (1) blanket, (2) pair of socks, mouthwash, toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, wet wipes (20 wipe pack), deodorant, (3) sanitary napkins, first-aid essentials, Vaseline, body wash, shampoo, sunscreen, antibiotic ointment, lip balm, body powder, McDonald’s $5.00 gift card
Provided notebooks, loose-leaf paper, writing supplies, socks, personal wipes
Passed out bottled water, wet washcloths and hygiene kits for 75 aged-out foster youth and homeless individuals.
